Hundred Blades/Conjure [Element]
I've a question for you W/E's out there: I just switched my W/R over to W/E, as Tiger's Fury was getting in the way of my Gladiator's and Bonetti's Defense, so now I can use Conjure whatever in tandem with my defensive skills (esp. helpful with Bonetti's). Anyway, I was wondering, does the + dmg gained from the Conjure line apply to each strike landed with hundred blades? I'd try it myself, except it's near-impossible to get a decent group on those last few missions.
And, just for the record, if that damage does apply to each blow, then I'm about to be a very happy warrior. Love for the frost.

It depends. If you were to take damage from hundred blades and it said above your head in the damage text -# (hundred blades) then no, conjure [element] would not incerase the damage on it. But if hundred blades is a like a stance and you use normal sword attacks after it then yes, conjure [element] will increase it.

the last post confused me a bit, can you please clarify that?
I think the poster asked if HE can use hundred blades with say conjure lightning to get the added damage, and if it works on all adjecent targets.
Trial and error I guess, I haven't tested it so I can't give you your answer, but I sure would appreciate it if someone did know.

Yes.

Why would need to get a group together to test that? Just pop out the front door of Piken Square (or the outpost of your choice) and try it yourself. (You're aware of map travel, right?)

So, let me get this straight: you don't even know what Hundred Blades is or what it does, but you felt qualified to answer the question anyway?

of course I know what it is. Im not an idiot. But I do not know how it works. Therefore, I gave rossaroni the necessary (if confusing) information to finding out.
Why does everyone on this forum have to be an asshole. Im just trying to help someone out.
and to clarify my first post,
Conjure element only works will ELEMENTAL DAMAGE through a physical weapon. Meaning you need to be wielding a sword that does fire damage to get the boost from conjure fire.
And my final point: Any sort of skill that deals damage on its own such as flare or pretty much all ele spells will not get any boost from conjure [element].
When I was trying to explain how to find out if hundred blades is just a skill that helps your phyiscal attack or a skill that deals damage, you can find out by getting HIT by that skill. Anytime you take damage, it will show you where the damage comes from (either physical or skill damage) in red text above your characters head. If you were to take physical damage, then a -# would appear above your head showing how much hp you lost from that attack. If you take any damage from a skill then it will do the same thing but have the skill name in parentheses after the number. For hundred blades you deal 2 physical attacks to your foe and 1 phyiscal attack to everyone around you. if you had conjure [element] on you at that time, then yes it would deal the extra damage both times to your foe and 1 time to everyone else you hit.

Being ignorant of something does not make you an idiot. However, your comment made it quite clear that you don't know what it is (it's a Sword Attack, BTW). If you really did know what it is, you would indeed have to have been an idiot to say what you said. That's why I assumed you didn't know what it was. I was assuming you weren't an idiot.

Some people would say offering advice when you clearly don't know what you're talking about is being a bigger asshole. If you don't know, it's more helpful to remain silent than it is to talk out your arse. These fora are a great deal less helpful to people who really need help when other members are doing that. I'm not trying to be an asshole, I'm trying to genuinely help people out, and if I can somehow stop even one user from making the kind of post you made previously, I will have succeeded in being genuinely helpful. Users who don't know the answer can get help much more easily if they get answres from someone who does without having to wade through a bunch of responses from people who don't. I understand you were trying to helpful, that's why I'm trying to help you learn how to be helpful. This is an example of where your silence would have been more helpful than your speculation.

He already knows that. You can also find that out by simply going to the skill listing and noting that it's a "sword attack", or simply reading the description. It's patently obvious that the person asking the question knows the skill better than you do. All he asked was, does the extra damage get applied to each strike with Hundred Blades. The answer is yes, and nothing you said came even remotely close to helping answer that question.

This is false, BTW. Hundred Blades deals two attacks to everyone hit by it, not two to one target and one to all the others. Please, please, PLEASE stop posting wrong information when you just plain don't know what you're talking about! It is NOT helpful! Quite the opposite!

I don't actually have the skill. I've yet to pass the Ring of Fire mission with my warrior, because there's a monk famine. If I had it, I wouldn't need to post here now, would I?
[Edit] And just to make sure I'm clear here, with hundred blades I'm essentially doubling ( ) the damage added on from the conjure frost I use? By the way, thanks Dreamsmith.

Assuming you're just attacking the one target, yes, you're doubling the damage from Conjure Frost, as well as doubling your standard attack damage, and getting double adrenaline plus double benefit from any other effect that triggers on a hit. It's like Dual Shot, only better, and that's not even considering what happens when there are multiple opponents. Conjure Element plus Hundred Blades in a crowd is a wonder to behold...
